English abstract
The current study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between personality ,professional self-styles and the quality of professional life among psychologists in the Sultanate of Oman, and to achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach, on a sample of (251) psychologists who were randomly selected Using the personality patterns scale according to the Anigram prepared by Saudi et al.(2024), and the professional self-scale and the quality of professional life scale prepared by the researcher, and after a statistical analysis of the results, the following was concluded: The common personality type among psychologists is the challenged pattern As for the level of the professional self in its various dimensions (ideal, perceptual, social) as well as the quality of professional life, their level was very high.The study also confirmed that we can positively predict the quality of professional life through the three dimensions of the professional self (ideal, perceptive, social) as well as through the accomplished and challenging personality style, and the quality of professional life can be negatively predicted through the researcher's style.The study proved that there were no statistically significant differences in personality styles, professional self and quality of professional life due to the variable of gender, academic qualification and professional experience.
