English abstract
This study aimed at investigating the administrative performance of directors' departments and their assistants and relationship to its employee's job satisfaction in the directorates of education in Al Burami and North Al Batinah. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive method was used, as the researcher developed a questionnaire consisted of (52) items, divided into three parts. After reviewing the validity and reliability, the questionnaire was applied to the study sample which consisted (350) employees. One of the most remarkable results of the study was the level of administrative performance of directors' departments and their assistants in Al Burami and North Al Batinah governorate from their perspectives came at the "high" level in all filed.
The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level for that the level of administrative performance of directors' departments and their assistants in Al Burami and North Al Batinah governorate due to the variables of gender. The results of the study also showed that the level of employee's job satisfaction in the directorates of education in Al Burami and North Al Batinah governorate from their perspectives came at the "medium" level. The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level for that the level of employee's job satisfaction in the directorates of education in Al Burami and North Al Batinah governorate in all fields except the satisfaction with salary and financial and non-
financial incentives.
The results of the study also showed that there is a positive correlation between the administrative performance and employee's job satisfaction. In light of this study results, several recommendations, first recommendation of level administrative performance, the directors of the departments should be trained by the administrative affairs in the directorates on setting goals and how to evaluate them. Secondly, the recommendations of job satisfaction, the directors of the departments should improve the working environment for employees and make it more motivating by building trust, respect and fairness
among them.
