English abstract
The study aimed to identify the extent of the practice of school boards of their roles and functions of the job in the schools beyond primary education in South Batinah, in addition to the effect of variables such statement, qualification, and the area of specialization and the number of years of experience. And in order to achieve these objectives study used a descriptive approach which is based on data and information collection, analysis and interpretation to reach the results can be generalized, the study used a questionnaire to collect data and information in the field study, was applied to a sample of 192 individuals from school administrators and teachers.
The study found many of the results that the most important area of the practice of the Board of Directors of school for the duties which came in ranked first with a mean (3.72 ), and came in second place: the field of practice of the Council of Parents of its functions with a mean total (3.24), while ranking third place and last came the practice of the Board of Directors of student job duties amounted to a mean (3.06 ). Results of the study also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the significance level (a≤ 0.05) between the mean estimates of population of the study to all areas. The study recommended by numerous recommendations, including: attention to practical training for school board members to identify their functions and roles in order to carry out effectively productive, and the intensification of meetings, seminars and lectures that deal with the importance of the councils of parents and their active role in the community, and the involvement of members of the student councils in meetings and meetings other school boards.
