English abstract
The study aimed to identify the attitudes of Islamic education teachers towards using active learning methods in teaching, and to reveal the differences in their attitudes towards using active learning methods in teaching the subject according to the variables of gender and experience. The descriptive survey approach was used. To achieve the study objective, the researcher prepared a scale of attitudes towards active learning and then presented it to a group of arbitrators. Its validity and reliability were verified. The study sample consisted of (114) male and female teachers. The study tool was applied to the target sample, and the scores were monitored and processed statistically using the SPSS program. The results showed the following: The mean indicating the attitudes of Islamic education teachers towards using active learning methods in teaching amounted to ( 3.53), which indicates the presence of a positive attitude among the study sample towards using active learning methods in teaching, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between male and female teachers towards using active learning methods in teaching in relation to experience, which indicates the convergence of the results, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences between the study sample in the attitude towards using active learning methods in teaching in relation to experience. In light of these results, it was recommended the study on the necessity of employing active learning methods in teaching Islamic education
