English abstract
The study also aims at discovering statistical differences between the sample of the study which consists of the following variables: gender, qualification Educational region and experience in training.
To gather the data a questionnaire is carried out. It consists of (92) items included in 8 issues ( determining training needs, the modern ways of training, the development of thinking skills, electronic communication and research skills, designing training programs, training delivery skills, the education of training programs and the use of computer programs). The validity and the reliability of the questionnaire has been tested.
The sample of the study consists of all trainers who work in the educational training centers in all the educational regions except AlWusta educational region and Musandam educational region, the sample consists of 189 participants.
A random sample is first carried out to test validity and reliability, the questionnaire is analyzed by using (SPSS). (T) test is used to test statistical differences which consist of gender and (LSD) to test qualification samples educational region and experience.
The study has resulted in:
1. There is a training needs for the following items training needs determining, modern ways of training, thinking skills development, electronic communication and searching skills, training evaluation and the use of computers
2. Participants gender makes no significant results regarding training needs. 3. Trainers' qualifications make no significant results for all of the items of the questionnaire. 4. Trainers' experience in training centers make no significant results. 5. There is a significant result between the participants according
to their training needs and it is obvious that participants at Buraimi region need more development in training evaluation. As regards to the results of the study the researcher has made some suggestions to develop the performance of trainers in the training centers in the ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman.
