English abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate career indecision and its relation to career locus of control among ninth and eleventh grade students in North Sharqiya govemorate. To achieve the study aims, two tools were administered: career indecision scale and career locus of control scale. A random sample of (688) students was used. To answer the study's questions, means, standard deviations, persons correlation and t-test for two independent samples were calculated. The results of study showed that 50% of participants reported career indecision. In addition, participants reported internal career locus of control, and there was significant negative correlation between career indecision and external career locus of control. The result also showed that there were significant differences in career indecision due to gender in favor of male while there were no significant differences in career indecision due to gender Additionally, findings showed significant differences in career locus of control due to gender and female students demonstrated internal career locus of control, while male students demonstrated external career locus of control, and there were no significant differences in career locus of control due to grade. Some recommendations and suggestions were made based on the findings.
