Study Abstract The study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a training program of curiosity on critical thinking among grade four Students of Basic School in Governorate of Muscat in Sultanate of Oman. The sample consisted of 60 male and female (grade 4) who were divided into two groups: control group (30 students) and experience group (30 students). The Quasi experiment design was used. Experience group received ten training sessions on novelty and incongruiy dimensions of curiosity. These training sessions were divided into five weeks each week includes two sessions. Control group didn't receive training sessions and was studied according to school schedule. The study revealed statistical significant differences in critical thinking test for experience group for either pretest and post test. As result, training students on novelty and incongruiy dimensions of curiosity contributed to the development of students critical thinking abilities in the experience group.
