English abstract
The study aimed at investigating the relationship between academic achievement and self efficacy beliefs and problem solving skills among normal students and learning difficulty students in cycle two. The researcher used Perceived Self Efficacy Scale and Problem Solving Scale. They were administered to a purposive sample consisting of (200) normal and learning difficulties students from grades 5 and 6 in the school year 2015/ 2016 in Al.Buraimi Governorate. Results showed that normal students have higher perceived self efficacy than learning difficulty studentes. The results also revealed significant differences in domains of problem solving scale among normal and learning difficulty students. Besides, perceived self efficacy was the strongest predictor of students' achievement.
