English abstract
This study aimed at Detection the impact of a computer program based on employing enrichment activities for the development of academic achievement in Mathematics of Grade 7 in the province of Ash Sharqiyah North, for Integer Numbers unit. The study sample consisted of (71) seventh grade students at Abu Bilal Al-Tamimi Basic Education School (5-9). They were randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group consisted of (36) students and the control group consisted of (35) students. The experimental group studied using the computer program of enrichment activities, while the control group studied using the normal method. The pre-test and post-test were conducted, using the semi-experimental method. The scores showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in both tests of Mathematics academic achievement, for the benefit of the experimental group that was taught using the computer program of enrichment activities. In light of the results of study, the researcher concluded the following recommendations:
The study showed the importance of computer learning strategy. Therefore, the researcher suggests the following recommendations:
1- Awareness should be raised among Mathematics teachers of Basic education about the importance of computerized educational programs that are based on the computer learning strategy, emphasizing the necessity of using them in education, Training courses on how to use computer programs that serve Mathematics education should be provided to teachers.
2- Responsible authorities should be urged to provide computer-based learning programs that rely on computer learning strategy and to disseminate this strategy to primary school students in preparation for use in learning.
