English abstract
This study tackles Phonological and Semantic poetry texts Structures of Amr Al-Na:mi's, who is a prominent contemporary Libyan Arab writer. The study contents of two main chapters. The first chapter is divided into two parts; the first part identifies linguistic sound and explains its components, as such: consonants, vowels, stress and intonation. The second part is devoted to analyze rhythm, including the internal and the external rhythm, its types and its influence on the psycho situation of addresser and addressee. The second chapter is divided into three parts; the first part handles the notion of significance and the semantic fields of poet. The second part is devoted to investigate compositional imperative patterns and their implications as were used by the poet. The third part highlights the concept of symbolism and the types were applied by poet. The study demonstrates, among its other main conclusions, that the poet, to release his feelings of frustration and deprivation, pain and suffering he has experienced throughout his life, he showed a tendency to apply voiced consonants. The poet, also, rely on the stressed word to reinforce his self confidence and hope in prison. Furthermore, the poet showed a tendency to use compositional imperative styles as rhetorical devices to convey implicit meanings, and to use symbols extensively to enrich his poetic language. Finally, the study reveals that various and numerous semantic fields were applied and selected by the poet that mark his stylistic particularity, and express his suffering inside prison
