English abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine how is using computer assisted programs in teaching Islamic Sciences in grade 7 students affects their achievement & attitudes towards the subject. Two groups of 66 students each were involved to form the sample of the study: Experimental and Controlled. And in order to answer the last lessons questions, the researcher prepared the required educational materials, which consisted of: Computer-assisted program was designed by the researcher himself and particularly programming of unit 3 from Islamic Educational Book of the fundamental class 7. 30 multiple choice questions as an achievement test which had been employed before and after applying the designed program. • A survey or questionnaires of 30 phrases also were prepared by him and again applied before and after the use of the program. And in order to analyze the data properly, the means, standard deviations, T-test and Indication levels of both Experimental and Controlled group were applied in pre-test and post-test as it applied in pre-measurements and post-measurements as well. The study has shown the following results: There were statistically significant differences between the performance of the two groups at 0.05 level and in favor of the Experimental participants i.e who had used the computer program. . There were statistically significant differences between the performance of the two groups at 0.05 level in their achievement and attitudes toward the subject and again in favor of the Experimental group. Based on the results of the study, the researcher strongly recommends the encouragements and taking care of producing computer-assisted programs in Islamic educational courses and other courses in general. In addition to his recommendations on carrying on similar studies on student achievements & attitudes towards the subject even in higher. levels.
