English abstract
Masters in educational administration The present study aimed at investigating the problems of Kindergarten's (KG) management from the point of view of KG principals and teachers. It also tried to examine the influence of background variable such as: nationality, type of building, number of training courses taken, number of classes taught, qualifications and experience. The sample of the study was chose randomly and it consisted of 123 KG principals and 347 KG teachers working in the Ministry of Education. A questionnaire was developed to attain the aims of the study in which the problems were divided into three dimensions and they are: the administrative organization, classroom management and the parent-society relationship, Moreover, it is concluded that:
1- The participants prospective to the administrative problems on the elements was moderate, where, the parent-society relationship took the first place the administrative organization came the least.
2- There were no statistically significant differences at (a =0.05) in the average scores of the private school principles over the problems of the whole three dimensions in regard to all variables.
3- There are statistically significant differences at (a =0.05) in the average scores of the KG principals on the administrative organization problems
attributed to the lack of training courses.
4- There are statistically significant differences in the average scores of the KG teachers at (a =0.05) in regard to the three influenced problems is affected by the experience in favor to the Omani teachers and also influenced by the educational qualification in favor to the low qualification.
5- There are statistically significant difference in the average scores of the KG teachers at (a =0.05) concerning the learning environment management is greatly affected by the building type in favor to the rented ones,
6- The number of training courses taken, the experience and the number of classes doesn't show any statistically significant difference at (a =0.05) with regard to teachers' perception of the problems significant.
7- The parent-society relationship shows a statistically differences at (a =0.05) in both KG teachers and principals in favor to the former. The study has presented many recommendations to over come the KG management problems.
