English abstract
This study aims to investigate the general differences in kinetics abilities, emotional and behavioral problems among students with learning disabilities and their peers. In addition, it aims to explore the differences between students with learning disabilities according to gender variable (female students with learning disabilities compared with male students with learning disabilities). Moreover, the present study aims to explore the relationship between the kinetics abilities, emotional and behavioral problems in students with learning disabilities. To reach the aims of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach. Thus, a set of Standardized kinetic tests are used including: "20 meters fast running" test, "pushing the medicine ball" test, "Throw a ball at a target" test, "obstacles run" test and 6 minutes running test as well as behavioral and emotional scale for students consisting of five domains (aggression, anxiety, learning problems, hyperactivity and psychosomatic disorder). The research was carried out with Omani students, students with and without learning disabilities from six basic education schools that implement learning disabilities program in Muscat which are selected randomly. Findings revealed that there is a statistically significant differences for students without learning disabilities in all kinetic tests, and for students with learning disabilities in all domains of emotional and behavioral problems scale. In addition, it found that there is a statistically differences for the male students with learning disabilities in all kinetic tests, while it showed that there is no differences in behavioral and emotional scale due to the gender variable. Moreover, the results of the current study revealed that there is a positive correlation between accuracy of throwing and aggression.
A set of recommendations and suggestions were stated based on the findings of the current study that may be considered as anew addition to the study field.
