English abstract
This study aimed to reveal the level of assertiveness and its relationship represent the concepts of citizenship among students of Technology College. The researcher used the descriptive method in this study. The sample of the study consisted of 200 students. Two scales of study have been applied, namely: the assertiveness
scale, which prepared by the researcher. The second scale was (Barakat and A' Tobi's
2015) scales of the citizenship concept. The researcher utilized different scales for data analysis such as the mean, standard deviation, T test, one way ANOVA, coefficient of correlation (Pearson) and Regression
linear.
The results of the study show:
- There is a high level of assertiveness according to the scale used in this study.
- There are no statistically significant differences between the sexes in the level of
assertiveness and represent citizenship concepts.
- There are statistically significant differences in assertiveness due to the variable for the academic year and for the fifth year students
- The study sample have a balance between the emotional, behavioral and cognitive dimensions. The average of the representation is high and is above the value of the quintile.
