English abstract
The researcher in this study has taken a stylistic approach in the area of Sound Stylistics and Statistical Stylistics, using a survey of Al-Habsi's poems, meters, rhymes, and stylistic features. The statistical results are analyzed and interpreted highlighting the diversity of Al-Habsi's poetry in its external and internal rhythm.
The study is divided into three chapters; The first chapter entitled: "Al-Habsi's Life and Culture", discusses the personal life of the poet, his sufferings, the hardship of his time, the death of his family, and his poverty. This chapter also explores the poet's life among the Imams of Oman, his education, culture and his travels around the cities of Oman. It also highlights the main topics and purposes addressed by Al Habsi, explaining the features that characterize his poetry; such as his humor, satire, and novelty.
The second chapter is about the "external rhythm". It examines the concept of rhythm from the point of view of critics and researchers in the past and today. It also emphasizes the importance of music in poetry, providing a detailed analysis of the various rhymes and meters in Al- Habsi's poetry. This is supported by tabling ratios and statistical evidence
The third chapter entitled "Internal Rhythm" touches the stylistic phenomena which have been deployed in Al-Habsi's poetry and the role of these phenomena in the formation of its internal rhythm.
The study is ended by a conclusion which includes a summary of the results and the most important recommendations.
