English abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the techniques needed for Arabic language supervisors in the secondary stage in Sultanate of Oman. It is an attempt to give new suggestions which may help to develop the recent supervision program relates to Arabic language curriculum in the vision of findings of this study. In order to answer the study questions. The researcher used two questionnaires : Firstly : A list of practical roles relate to Arabic language supervisors in the secondary stage in Sultanate of Oman, reach to ( 45 ) techniques after were shown to a group of professionals could be divided to linguistic, educational and practical field. Secondly: A questionnaire to locate the extant of conforming those supervisors to their roles in Oman. This questionnaire given to (224) Arabic language teachers – male and female - and it covered three Educational regions: Muscat, Al Batinah North and Al Batinah South. These Educational Regains represent 41.8% of the study population. The study results include: 1- (45) Techniques needed for Arabic language supersion in secondary stage in Oman including linguistic, educational and practical fields. 2- The supervision that is practised for Arabic language in secondary Omani schools is below level and still confined to class visit. 3- The study reaches a suggested vision may improve the supervision program in this aspect. According to the findings, the researcher observed some recommendation and suggested studies.
