English abstract
The study aimed at identifying the effect of using the reciprocal teaching strategy on AL-Dhakhlia Governorate grade eight students, mathematics achievement and their attitudes towards using this strategy. The study consisted of 54 students from Sheikh Majid Bin Khamis School. They were randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group that concerned 28 students and control group consisted of 26 students. The experimental group was taught functions and equation using the reciprocal strategy while the control group was taught them using the traditional way. The study used semi experienced method .The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the mean level (a= 0,05) and between the mean scores of the experimental and control group. In the light of the study results, the
researcher reached the following recommendations:
1- Diversifying the teaching methods of mathematics in general, and working hard to develop the reciprocal develop students achievement in mathematics.
2- Training the teachers of mathematics in different stages to use the reciprocal teaching strategy
