English abstract
The study aimed at revealing the extent of the impact of the play to be an information resource on the areas of knowledge transfer (social, language and daily life skills) among the children of the pre-school child care center at Sultan Qaboos University during the interview of the center's teachers and the results of the questionnaire for children. In two basic stages: the first phase was the use of the quantitative approach, and the questionnaire was used to collect data from the study population represented by the children of the center of the six teachers, by means of a questionnaire that included the impact of the games on the activities of knowledge transfer Social, linguistic and daily life skills. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis The second phase consisted of using the descriptive method of interviewing to gather data from the study community of the six teachers to identify their perceptions of the role of education in knowledge transfer by playing, by the interview form, and included kindergarten teachers' perceptions of the impact of education on the child's social development, daily life skills and language The study revealed the difference in the percentage of skills obtained from the use of the games. The daily life skills achieved the highest percentage of knowledge transfer. It reached (37%) with a repetition rate of 465, followed by language skills that achieved a rate of knowledge transfer rate of 36% Repetition (461), and social skills that achieved (27%) of knowledge transfer rate with total repetition of (348). The impact of the games as a source of information for the transfer of knowledge in the field of social skills obtained a rate (very high approval) with 92%, which indicates the importance of the role of education in playing in the field of social skills from the point of view of the teachers. In the field of daily life skills, it has reached a rate of (very high), indicating the importance of the use of games and their impact on children in the field of everyday life skills The study also revealed that the six teachers in the field of language skills realized a rate of (very high), which is consistent with the exercise of games in the educational process used in kindergartens. This indicates the importance of the curriculum in the child care center and its reliance on the educational process in kindergartens . The study produced a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the generalization of the use of the strategy of play in the teaching of more than one course content and a school curriculum. This strategy does not have a positive impact on the educational achievement of students This is because the teacher's knowledge of the strategy is easy for him to learn, and the design of the activities necessary and appropriate to conduct. A guide was developed for teachers to clarify the strategies of education by playing in all the study.
