The researcher uses the descriptive approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher utilizes the questionnaire, which was applied on a sample of 300 Omani female teachers who are working on North Batinah Schools, as a tool for gathering data.
One of the most significant findings of the study is that the level of job satisfaction of the kindergarten teachers is very low in the fields of salary, incentives, job stability, and the kindergarten administration. Meanwhile the job satisfaction is average in relation to the professional development. In addition, the level of organizational citizenship behavior of the teachers is low in all fields. That findings show that there are significant statistical differences in the level of job satisfaction of the North Batinah Region kindergarten teachers which is attributed to the element of experience. These differences are for the benefit of the less experienced teachers. Moreover, there are statistical differences that are attributed to the number of training courses for the benefit of the teachers who participated in more than two courses. Whereas there is no statistical difference that can be attributed to the element of salary and social status in all fields.
The findings also show that there is a positive correlated relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the kindergarten teachers' practice of the organizational citizenship in North Batinah Region.
The recommendations of the study are to raise the level of satisfaction among the kindergarten teachers because of its positive relation to their citizenship behaviors. This can be accomplished by improving the work environment in its general prospective and creating good balance between teachers' needs and the objectives of the educational institution. The study also recommends that workshops and trainings courses should be conducted to sharpen the teachers' skills and improve their attitude towards the teaching career, and it recommends that the owners of the kindergarten should be monitored and followed regularly to check on to what extent they are applying the rules and regulations that grantee the right of the teachers like salaries, incentives and awards, holidays and social insurance
