English abstract
The current study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a mentoring program based on the use of Psycho drama in developing career awareness among fourth-grade primary students in South Al-Batinah Governorate, where the study sample included (60) male and female students of a mixed sample (male and female) in a semi- experimental study that was divided according to the available method During the application to two experimental and control groups, the experimental group consisted of (28) male and female students, while the control group consisted of (32) male and female students, and the experimental group underwent a development orientation program based on the use of Psycho drama, which was represented in the scale of occupational awareness. (General / Special Professions Program), which is based on Gottfredsson 's "third stage (9-10) years" theory, while the control group received activities in quotas.
The results of the career awareness scale for the professions of the program showed that there are statistically significant differences between the members of the experimental group and the control group in the post application in favor of the experimental group, while the results of the general career awareness scale indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control in Post-implementation, as the improvement of the experimental group in general career awareness was not simple, did not make differences, and the results of the career awareness scale for the professions of the program in the pre and post applications of the experimental group showed that there were statistically significant differences in favor of post-implementation while the results of the general career awareness scale showed to The absence of statistically significant differences for the experimental group in the pre and post applications, and also the results of the occupational awareness scale for the professions of the program during the application of activities on the control group showed the presence of statistically significant differences for the group between the pre and post applications in favor of the post application while the results of the occupational awareness scale showed.
