This study aimed at identifying the level of job satisfaction among administrative supervisors in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman depending on the gender, the qualification and the experience of the administrative supervisors. The study included the following questions: 1 - What is the level of job satisfaction with the administrative supervisors in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, according to the sub and overall dimensions measured by job satisfaction scale? 2 - What is the level of job satisfaction with the adininistrative supervisors depending on the gender, qualification and years of experience? In addition to the Divan of the Ministry, the study sample consisted of 31 administrative supervisors representing five of the eleven educational regions in the Sultanate. The included regions are: Muscat, Batinah South, Dakheliya, Sharqiya North and Wusta. To achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire was used to measure job satisfaction with the administrative supervisors. This questionnaire contained five dimensions: the nature of the work, promotion and career progression, salary and bonuses, vocational relations and supervision and evaluation. To answer the questions of the study, the researcher used the average, the standard deviation and the T test for two independent samples. The findings suggested that there is a high job satisfaction with the administrative supervisors with an average overall performance (3.51) in the light of the approved levels of job satisfaction of the study. For the sub-dimensions of the device the nature of work and work relationships have achieved high job satisfaction. While the other three sub- dimensions: promotion and career progression, salary, bonuses, supervision and evaluation have achieved middle job satisfaction. The findings also suggested that the general average of job satisfaction among females is higher than among males. However, the results for the test (T) indicated that there was no significant statistical difference in the level of (∞ = 0.05) between males and females for all the sub dimensions and overall dimension of the questionnaire. Further results indicated that the overall average of job satisfaction with the masters and above was higher than for bachelors or below. For the test (T), the results indicated that there was no meaningful statistical difference in the level of (∞ = 0.05) between the bachelors or below and masters or above for all the sub dimensions and overall dimension of the questionnaire. With regard to administrative experience the results of the study indicated that the overall average of job satisfaction for the experienced administrative supervisors (6 years and above) is higher than for the less experienced (1-5 years). For the test (T), the results indicated that there was no meaningful statistical difference in the level of (∞ = 0.05) between the experienced (1-5 years), and experienced (6 years and above) for all the sub dimensions and overall dimension of the questionnaire. The most important findings of the study are the followings: 1. Set clear and identifiable criteria for promotions and incentives based on efficiency and proficiency. 2. Define the administrative Supervisors job and determine their duties and responsibilities. 3. Hold training courses for administrative supervisors by experts and specialists. 4. Consider the salaries and allowances of administrative supervisors and equalise them to salaries and allowances of the schooladministrators. 5. Prepare administrative supervisors offices and provide them with modern techniques, particularly in the educational areas. 6. Make further studies on the relationship between job satisfaction and (functional name, region, social status) and apply them on broader study community. 7. Give the opportunity for administrative supervisors to continue their higher studies (Master's and PhD).

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى المشرفين الإداريين وزارة التربية والتعليم بسلطنة عمان، ومن ثم التعرف على مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى المشرفين الإداريين تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، الخبرة الإدارية لدى المشرفين الإداريين
وتضمنت هذه الدراسة الأسئلة التالية:
١ - ما مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى المشرفين الإداريين بوزارة التربية والتعليم في سلطنة عمان وذلك على كل بعد من الأبعاد الفرعية لاستبانه الرضا الوظيفي والبعد الكلي؟
۲- ما مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى المشرفين الإداريين تبعا لمتغير الجنس والمؤهل العلمي، والخبرة الإدارية؟
وقد تألفت عينة الدراسة من (۳۱) مشرفاً إداريا ومشرفة إدارية، يشكلون جميع
المشرفين الإداريين في خمس مناطق تعليمية هي ( مسقط، الباطنة جنوب الداخلية الشرقية شمال الوسطى بالإضافة إلى ديوان عام الوزارة، وهذه المناطق التعليمية تم اختيارها من أصل أحد عشر منطقة تعليمة بالسلطنة مراعيا الباحث تمثيلها لبقية المناطق التعليمية.
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة فقد تم بإعداد استبانة لتحديد مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى المشرفين الإداريين، والمكونة من خمسة أبعاد هي طبيعة العمل الترقية والتدرج الوظيفي، الراتب والمكافآت علاقات العمل، الإشراف والتقييم.
