This study sought to identify the reality of the role of charitable teams in dealing with climatic conditions that the states to which they belong, especially in dealing with Cyclone Shaheen, which affected the governorates of North and South Al Batinah directly and led to significant property damage. Determining the difficulties that the charitable teams faced while performing their role, and suggestions to activate their role in such cases‌. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach that was applied using the sample social survey method for members of charitable teams in the states affected by Cyclone Shaheen in the North Al Batinah Governorate. An interview with the heads of these charitable teams in order to obtain more in-depth information by virtue of their communication with various government agencies. The study reached a set of results, most notably: the charitable teams had a prominent role in dealing with the effects of Cyclone Shaheen, and the cooperation between charitable teams and the relevant government agencies was uneven and was generally accepted, and that the charitable teams' roles tended towards traditional roles in Such cases, and the study revealed a set of difficulties faced by charitable teams such as: weak financial resources for charitable teams, lack of specialists in dealing with climatic conditions, and weak cooperation between charitable teams and some government agencies‌. The study also reached a set of proposals that could contribute to supporting the work of the charitable team's system, such as: the need to intensify media awareness of climatic conditions and how to deal with them, the need for an electronic system that brings together the various parties while working with such cases.
