The study aims to raise the level of awareness and knowledge of artificial intelligence applications in education and training, identify the most prominent uses of artificial intelligence applications in education and training, and identify the most prominent artificial intelligence tools used that suit our Omani reality in the education, training, and human resources development sector. The study consisted of all teachers and trainers of educational and training institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, and the study sample consisted of 600 male and female teachers and trainers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was applied that included a list of the most prominent and latest applications of artificial intelligence in education and training in order to identify the most important applications used in education and training in the Sultanate of Oman, and to determine the most appropriate uses of artificial intelligence applications in education and training that are compatible with the reality of Omani educational and training institutions, and their areas of use, and to determine a list of the latest artificial intelligence tools that can be used in the education and training sector. The results showed a list of the most prominent applications used, the most appropriate and their areas of use, and the most prominent experiences and initiatives, in addition to determining the levels of awareness and knowledge among teachers and trainers of educational and training institutions about artificial intelligence applications and the degree to which they possess knowledge of the basic tools for artificial intelligence applications in education and training. Moreover, the study recommended the necessity of adopting a clear strategy to raise awareness of the applications of artificial intelligence in education and training, training teachers and trainers to use it in a way that serves the development of the educational and training process, and to get benefit from the list of uses of artificial intelligence in education and training institutions and the list of artificial intelligence tools that suit the reality of our educational and training institutions, and including them among the programs of qualification and training for teachers and trainers to use and get benefit from it in their field of work.
