The relationship between self-efficacy of the students in the Faculty of Shari'ah Sciences and represent the concepts of citizenship in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample of the study contains 277 students from the Faculty of Sharia Sciences divided into (121) male students and (106 ) female students. The researcher has used the Descriptive Analytical Method and the self-efficacy scale for dealing with the challenges of Chesney and others (Chesney, et al, 2006) and the scale of the concepts of citizenship prepared by Barakat and Al-Toby (2015). The following results were found: - Results of the majority research sample came in the measured self-efficacy scale in all its dimensions at the high level. - Results of the dimensions of the scale of concepts of temporal citizenship at the high level. The belonging to past time has the highest arithmetic averages. it turns out that they have an acceptable balance between the three times (past, future, present). - The dimensions of the scale of the concepts of citizenship in the emotional and behavioral structures at the high level, while the knowledge structures came at the intermediate level. The emotional dimension obtained the highest arithmetic averages, then the behavioral dimension, then the cognitive dimension. - There were no significant differences between sex in the level of self-efficacy in the total score while it appeared significant differences between sex in the dimension of (get support from friends and family) for females. There are no significant differences between sex in other dimensions. - There are significant differences in the level of self-efficacy due to the variable of the academic year in the dimension of (get support from friends and family). And there are no significant difference in the level of self-efficacy due to the variable of the academic year in the other dimensions - There are significant differences between sex in the level of citizenship concepts in the dimensions of the concepts of citizenship (cognitive, past and present). There are no significant differences between sex in the level of concepts of citizenship in the dimensions of the concepts of citizenship (emotional and behavioral and future). - There are no significant differences in the level of citizenship concepts due to the variable of the academic year in all dimensions of the scale. - There are significant differences between the levels of self-efficacy (low and high) according to the temporal dimensions (past, present and future) in favor of the high self efficacy. The temporal orientation of the students didn't differ according to their levels of perceived self-efficacy low and high) and their temporal orientation was towards the past, present, and future. - There are significant differences between the levels of self-efficacy (low and high) according to dimensions (cognitive, behavioral, and affective) for the high self-efficacy. The order of these dimensions differed according to their different levels. The high self efficacy group was higher in their behavioral than their emotional and cognitive representation, while those with low self-efficacy were more emotional than behavioral and cognitive. - There is a significant correlation between the level of self-efficacy and the level of all dimensions of citizenship concepts. The most powerful relationship was found between self-efficacy and dimension of the past of the dimensions of concepts of temporal citizenship, and self-efficacy and behavioral dimension of the concepts of citizenship (cognitive, behavioral and emotional). - All dimensions of citizenship concepts) can be predicted through the dimensions of perceived self-efficacy. It is also possible to predict all dimensions of the concepts of citizenship (past, present, future, cognitive, emotional and behavioral) through the overall degree of the scale of self-efficacy.
