The purpose of this research study was to measure the effects of applying the Student Technology Assistant (STA) Program at Fatima Bint Al-Khattab School on 9th and 10th grade students' Information Technology (IT) knowledge, skills and attitudes. It seeks to answer three main questions: (1) What are the effects of the STA Program on 9th and 104 grade students' IT knowledge? (2) What are the effects of the STA Program on 9th and 10th grade students' IT skills? And (3) What are the students' attitudes towards the STA Program? An experimental, mixed research method was used to explore the participants' IT knowledge, skills and attitudes. Thirty 9th and 10th grade students from Fatima Bint Al Khattab School were chosen as a sample for this study to offer IT support for their teachers and colleagues. Data were collected using four instruments: (1) Needs Analysis Survey, (2) IT Theoretical Pre-posttest, (3) IT Practical Pre-posttest and (4) Electronic Focus Group Interview. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software as well as the Nvivo software were used to analyze the data of the study. The main findings of this research study were: (1) an improvement in the participants' general IT knowledge and skills after participating in the STA Program, (2) participants showed a significant enhancement in their level at the Internet category compared with Windows and Microsoft Office categories and (3) positive attitudes of the participants towards the STA Program and their willingness to participate in such programs and to encourage their colleagues to participate.
