The study aimed at investigating the effect of using Data Searching Strategy in developing graphic skills and science processes of grade 10 students. For this purpose, the researcher followed a quasi-experimental research design with a control and experimental group. The experimental group consisted of (30) female students from Muqinyat Basic Education School (5-12) whereas the control group consisted of (30) female students from Sawda Um Al Mumineen Basic Education School (5 12) in Wilayat Ibri within Al Dhahira Governorate. The study was carried out over 8 weeks during the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. To answer the research questions, a teacher's manual was developed and submitted to 13 judges to chck its usibilty to b used for teaching 10th garde stduents. The research instruments included a graphic skills test and a science processes test and both were reviewed by 17 judges to assess their validity. The two tests reliability was checked using internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha). Cronbach's Alpha for graphic skills test was (r = 0.91) while it was (r = 0.84) for science processes test which indicates a good level of reliability, The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (a = 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean scores of the control group in the graphic skills test and in the science processes test in favor of the experimental group. In addition, there was a large effect size in the graphic skills and the science processes skills as result of using data search strategy. In light of these findings, the study recommended designing exemplary lessons using data search strategy and including these lessons in the teachers' manuals of the science curricula to help the teachers in preparing similar lessons. It also recommended training the science teachers and supervisors in using data search strategy and providing them with ways that help them equip their students with graphic skills and science processes skills. In addition, the study recommended conducting further research that investigate other variables like academic achievement and visual and statistical thinking.
