The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the relationship between religious values and psychological security, of grade twelve students in the governorate of Muscat - Sultanate of Oman, by answering five questions specified in the study. The study sample consisted of (412) students of whom (216) of them are male and(196) are female. They are selected randomly from the six willayats of Muscat. The study sample consisted of students from schools in the Muscat governarate (Muscat, Bushar, Mutrah, Al.Seeb, Al. Amerat and Quriyat). It applied the descriptive approach. The researcher used two tools in the study which are scale of religious values and measure of psychological security. The measure of religious values includes (62) that are divided into three areas. These are the values of faith, worship and moral values. The other tool is the measure of psychological security, which included (56) areas that are divided into three areas, namely a sense of security, sense of belonging and sense of love. The veracity of instruments can be checked through the use of arbitration and honesty formative calculated in through correlation coefficients between the scale as a whole and its fields. The consistency of each tool was estimated by a constant tool called alpha Cronbach. The results showed that these tools have acceptable coefficients of validity and reliability for the purposes of the study. The data of this study dealt with package statistical SPSS using averages, standard deviations and tests (t-test) to answer the questions of the study, Pearson correlation coefficient to estimate the structural honesty of the scale, and Cronbach alpha to estimate the stability of the scale used in this study.
