The study aimed to reveal the involvement of the content of the book called My Beautiful Language namely the two parts: My Reading Skills, and My Writing Skills, for the fifth grade in the Sultanate of Oman for the academic year 2022-2023 AD. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the analytical descriptive approach based on the Romy standard, which was included in the analysis card. This card consisted of three parts: presentation of the scientific material, presentation of the activities, and presentation of the graphics and visual shapes. The validity and reliability of the card were verified. The sample of the study consisted of: (24) lessons from the book My Skills in Reading and (40) lessons from the book My Skills in Writing. The lessons were selected randomly. After conducting the appropriate statistical analyses, the study concluded that the degree of the book’s involvement of the student in the scientific material in the book My Beautiful Language for the fifth grade is (0.82), which is a higher value than the acceptable minimum set by Romy. The results also showed that the involvement of the book’s activities of the students is equal to (2.4), which is a value more than (1.5) according to the Romy coefficient. As for the involvement of the visual texts included in the book for the student, it amounted to (0.14), which is a coefficient less than the acceptable minimum according to the Romy coefficient which is (0.40). The results of the study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: the need to pay attention to stimulate students’’ participation with the visual content of the book My Beautiful Language for the fifth grade to allow them to have a productive and enjoyable interaction. This will contribute in achieving the goals of learning and teaching Arabic, especially in the field of reading graphics, pictures and visual charts.
